1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Traders Journal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Service Description
Traders Journal provides automated contract note parsing, trade journaling, analytics dashboards, discrepancy detection, and optional notification integrations. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Gmail and Google OAuth Access
When you connect Gmail, you authorize read-only access to relevant contract note emails to provide the service. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account. Revoking access may disable automatic imports.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, comply with applicable laws, and use the service only for lawful personal or business trade-journaling purposes. You must not attempt unauthorized access, abuse APIs, or disrupt platform operation.
6. Financial and Advisory Disclaimer
Traders Journal is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. You remain solely responsible for your trading decisions, tax compliance, and regulatory obligations.
7. Data Accuracy and Verification
While we strive for accuracy in parsing and analytics, extracted values may occasionally contain errors due to source data variations, broker format changes, or system issues. You should verify important values before relying on them.
8. Third-Party Services
The service depends on third-party providers including Google, Supabase, AWS infrastructure, and Telegram. We are not responsible for downtime, data handling, or policy changes made by those providers.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, software, and design are owned by or licensed to Traders Journal. You are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security risks, abuse the platform, or where required by law. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traders Journal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or trading opportunity.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Traders Journal, its operators, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
